Lord Stirling, our pride and joy from Captain Nemo. This guy has 10 blue ribbons, 2 color championships and 1 reserve championships. He has even beaten some of those big boys you always hear about! And what a love! Stirling has a dynamic personality, a great temperment and a pleasure to watch in the fields or in the ring.
The very first class he was in (Mapaca in 2007) was quite an interesting class. Amanda proclaimed that it had the best group of Juvie greys she had seen. She certainly wasn't wrong--The 1st through 5th places had all gone on to champion or reserve champion. I find that really interesting. We are proud that our Lord Stirling was in that group. Obviously he (and they) have gone onto many rewarding wins. Rob made me retire Stirling from the ring now that he is breeding, but I look at him out in the fields and I see no difference in him now..or even the past year or two! Still a sight.
Stirling has had exceptional crias. Two are mahogany colored and one a beautiful dark silver grey tuxedo that looks like a chip of the old block - Stirling's Pewter Prince!!! Just wonderful. You will just need to take a look. It would be the perfect opportunity to see if Stirling can give you your own Pewter Prince. :)
Stirling is a mush. Okay - a herdsire that is a mush? Well he is. We love to have him around. See what he can do for your herd!
