Who wants a 14 year old herdsire? I say someone who looks beyond the now and can see the future. While Best Man's Elite Reflection was a show winner in his own right and has produced multiple show winning cria, his true value is in his slow growth fiber. Having bought a herdsire with and AFD in the teens only to "blowout to 30+ microns in 4 years, this trait cannot be overstated. How many 14 year old alpacas have you seen with a fiber diameter of 23.5? My guess is, not many. For the price...
